At The Nest, we have a wide range of yoga styles. Each student is sure to find one that nourishes them, mentally & physically.


At The Nest, yoga is for everyone.  Our light filled studio above Huckleberry New Lynn is a safe space for people to start a new yoga practice, develop their own or simply take a breather from the everyday. We have a wide range of styles to suit all types but our focus is on safety and inclusion in every class. Finding a style you love is important so feel free to contact us with any questions.

Ashtanga - A dynamic practice that incorporates movement with breath, creating a flowing, meditative quality that is both challenging and deeply rewarding.

Gentle Chair Yoga - Those who find getting down to the mat difficult will find yoga seated on chairs extremely relaxing & restorative, for both mind & body.

Hatha - Easily accessible to all levels, Hatha yoga sequences concentrate on alignment and breath. Props are used to ensure each asana is open to everyone.

Meditation - Calm your mind and settle your soul... Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class that draws on various meditation techniques.

Pre & Post Natal - Pre & Post Natal students can need an extra level of care in their practice. We have dedicated classes to ensure students get the adjustments they need.

Restorative - Gentle and nourishing, you'll be relaxing your body into fully supported, restful poses, with gentle breathing techiniques designed to help you unwind and recharge the batteries with minimal expenditure of energy.

Slow Flow - A gently energising class. Cultivate awareness of the body and mind by connecting movement with breath and using that to guide you through your practice.

Yin - Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga, that aims to increase circulation and joint mobility, while bringing stillness to the mind. This meditative approach is deeply therapeutic for the physical body and the emotional mind.

Yin Yang - Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice - bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses (yin) with more dynamic sequences and standing postures (yang, like vinyasa).

Vinyasa - Fusing body, breath and mind for a dynamic, strong, mindful & gracefully paced class, this class will challenge you as you build strength, gain mobility, circulation and alleviate congestion in your organs.
